Join us for three days of peak season play, great food, and competition.

The non-eliminationevent commences on Thursday with an optional best 2 of 4 event shotgun at 2:00 pm and Kickoff Party, then plays through 45 holes of over two days, concluding with the championship round and dinner on Saturday

 

Included in the event fee:

  • NEW Best 2 of 4 tournament Thursday, May 31st
  • 27 holes of golf with cart Friday, June 1st
  • 18 holes of golf with cart Saturday, June 2nd
  • NEW Seven meals from Thursday night through Saturday night

Winners and runner ups of each flight receive gift certificates for the golf shop

First place teams, overall champions, and overall high point teams receive share of the Calcutta payout

Optional cash games available throughout the tournament including par-mutuel betting for overall event and Saturday high points

Tournament Details

Thursday Best 2 of 4

  • 2 pm Shotgun
  • Morning tee times for practice round still available
  • Advance sign up required

Friday and Saturday Tournament Play

  • Flights of 6 teams based on lowest USGA handicap index of the two team members (based on May 15t posting)
  • Each team plays a 9-hole match against all other teams in the flight
  • Five 9-hole matches total, three on Friday and two on Saturday
  • Total points at the end of five matches will determine winners and runner ups in each flight
  • 1 point for winning a hole; ½ point for tying a hole; awarded in accordance with the standing at the end of each match
  • Non-elimination: the last shot on the last hole could influence the outcome of the entire tournament!

Overall Champions – Following the conclusion of match play on Saturday, first place holders of each flight will contend for overall champion in shoot-out format with strokes falling in accordance with the hole being played.

 

  • All flights will be seeded according to the handicap index as of May 15th. Final 3 flights are played with handicap, all other flights will be played with no handicap.
  • White tees may only be played in one of the final three flights and the player must 1) be 65 by two days prior to event and 2) use a handicap reduced according to the white tee rating
  • In the event of a forfeit, a maximum of five points will be awarded. Any player who is late cannot participate in the hole if any player has hit his second shot. In the event that a flight is not full, the Professional Staff will advise you of the playing procedure
  • Ties for 1st or 2nd place in a flight will be played-off on holes #1 and #10, as designated
  • Golfers are required to be at the proper tee five minutes before the start of each round
  • Proper golf attire is required. Jackets are encouraged for the Saturday evening dinner. Check with the Golf Shop if you have any questions concerning the dress code.

Prizes

  • 1st Place of each Flight: $100 Golf Shop Certificate per player
  • 2nd Place of each Flight: $50 Golf Shop Certificate per player
  • Calcutta Payout:
    • 75% of total pool paid to 1st place teams of each flight
    • 10% of total pool paid to Overall Champions
    • 10% of total pool paid to teams in Overall Champions flight
    • 5% of total pool paid to overall high point team

  • 11:45 am- Quick Lunch in the Pavilion
  • 12:15 pm- Shotgun Start, 2nd 9-hole match
  • 2:30 pm- Shotgun Start, 3rd 9-hole match
  • 4:45- Cash Bar
  • 5:45- Heavy Hors d’oeuvres and wine & spirits tasting in the Pavilion
Saturday, June 2nd
  • 8:30 am– Continental Breakfast in the Pavilion
  • 9:30 am- Shotgun Start, 4th 9-holes
  • 12:00 pm- Mexican Buffet in the Pavilion
  • 12:40 pm- Shotgun Start, final 9-holes
  • 2:50 pm- Flight Playoffs
  • 3:15 pm- Overall Championship Playoff
  • 5:30- Cocktails and Hor d’oeuvres on Patio
  • 6:30- Strolling Dinner Stations throughout the facility
